He wrote ANOTHER one? I was so dissapointed with Final Warning that I try not to remember that book exists in the series. I haaate how preachy it is bldjfhkfkh.lyrasen wrote:Just got the book Fang in the Maximum Ride series. Not looking too good so far. Too much romance, not enough asskicking.

James Patterson has a habbit of writing really well for two or three books, but after that, he fucks the series sky high.lyrasen wrote:Yep.
He can't seem to stop.
In this one, Max seems to have Bella Swan syndrome. She never stops talking about Fang.

Bah.
I feel naked without a book at my table. Time to go scour my personal library and see if there's not something I've overlooked

I only started reading Maximum Ride because I read When the Wind Blows and The Lake House which are like a more ~adult~, realistic take on the bird kids (and came before MR) and still like those much better.
I have heard Discworld is wonderful but I can never find them in the library :I We just opened up a new library that's HUGE so maybe they have it now. Which reminds me I need to go drop some stuff offlyrasen wrote:I always recommend Discworld.
Always.
Also, the Bartimaeus Trilogy. Best books.

Graceling is about this one girl who's 'gifted' with the ability to kill people with her bare hands and crazy stuff like that. It's pretty cool even though I'm only a few pages in. I'm probably going to read most of it next week
Also, I'm still reading The Dragon Heir, which is the best book you will never read.
