Pretty much anything that starts with "The Haunting Of.." is guaranteed to be crap.
Especially if it's based off of a "true" story.
that's not what your mother said last night.

I don't watch many horror movies. The only horror movies I've seen (that I can remember) are "When a Stranger Calls" (Which was terrible), "The Sixth Sense" (which probably doesn't count) and "A Tale of Two Sisters" (An amazing Korean movie that my sister made me watch. It is an excellent movie. You should definitely watch it.)

...What exactly makes a movie a "horror" movie anyway? I'm not even sure "A Tale of Two Sisters" counts.

I used to like action movies but I just find most of them stupid now. Now that I think of it, I may have only made myself think I liked action movies.

I'd write about some other genres but I don't feel like it and you guys probably don't care anyway.

I don't watch many movies anymore... I blame video games.

Ohman. I love me some 80s Action movies.
The more over the top, the better.
I love the Rambo series..First Blood and Rambo being my fave out of the four.
And i also loved Commando, Predator, Aliens, Robocop, Death Wish 3, and a whole bunch of others that I can't think of at the moment.

Actually, to my surprise, quite a large amount of Japanese movies are good, horror or not. There was a time when MTV would regularly show Japanese movies of various genres, and my God they ruled so hard.
And then Hollywood thought "Hey I know, lets take these Japanese movies, and rape them, repackage them with the good Ol USA stamp, and then sell it to the masses".

If you mean when they remake Foreign movies (and generally make them suck), that happened to "A Tale of Two Sisters". Fairly recently, actually. It's called "The Uninvited" (I think). From what I've read about it, it's "A Tale of Two Sisters" if a complete idiot watched it and didn't understand ANY of it, took everything completely bodaciously, and then added some pointless crap.

I was thinking more along the lines of The Grudge adn The Ring, but that works too.

Kinky boots yesss. That movie was awesome.

Has anyone seen Koroshiya Ichi? I read the manga but didn't finish the movie. I'm glad I missed the nipple being bitten off part.

The last movie I watched was Machine Girl. Its a Japanese movie, and I loved it in the sense that I laughed my booty off the whole time because it was so bad. Netflix says its a horror film, but I fail to see what in that movie could be considered horror. Anyway, I recomend it if you want a good laugh.

Also, Fist Full of Dollars. 'Cause fuck your rifle, I'm wearing a metal plate.
