If Sega works for Nintendo, why am I looking foward to Alpha Protocol and currently enjoying Valkyria Chronicles?

Sega are the only people who seem to be throwing actual gamers a bone on the Wii, but thats hardly the only place they're showing us love. Bayonetta, Yakuza 3, the Genesis collection, Alien vs. Predator.....

Hell, considering how daisies cool some of this stuff is, you could make a convincing case they're working for Sony.
they work for who pays them, and they make a helluva lot of games for Nintendo
Which don't sell.

The Conduit
Has barely sold over 200,000 copies. Yakuza 3 got over that on its first day in Japan only. Valkyria Chronicles has sold over twice that.

that's the Wii's fault, not the game. The demographic of Wii owners jsut isn't into that sort of game, like myself.

I bet this game would've sold much more copies if it was on a system like ps3 or 360, just by demographic alone, and not the game itself.

Hardly. If it were on another system it would be judged for what it is - crap. As Yahtzee said, "low standards are the only thing that allow its few hardcore games a free ride. .... by the standard of current day gaming, the conduit is a pile of sodden cereal boxes tied together with string, and I would sooner recommend nailing your tongue to a subway train". I can think of about ten FPS's I haven't played yet that would be better than that thing.

But either way, Sega don't make Wii cheddar off actual games, they make it off those daisies overglorified minigame Sonic and Mario things.

And I've forgotten where we were going with this. Oh right, Okami sequel. Not gonna happen, Sega and Capcom aren't going to team up just because it would be a nice thing to do. EA could let Crytek remake Shadow of the Collosus for the Ps3 in all its leafy glory, but it would be easier to just make another Crysis. (Yes, I copied that idea from Zero Punctuation, but its still a good idea)

I really should pick the first one up, but the only one I ever see is the Wii version.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

Well the Ps2 version is consistently judged as the better one.

I don't care which version is better or not; problem is I don't have a Wii.

From what I've read that actually makes it harder or something. Like, it has trouble getting the right shape as what you try on the screen because you have less control that you did with the analog stick. I could be wrong though.

Also, I have a question. In the Wii version to Okami, is the ONLY way to attack to shake the wiimote, or can you change it in options or something?

I actually find it much quicker and easier to use the wiimote. I mean, it was hard in the beginning, but it's much more worth it when you get good at it.

Also, you can only attack by waving the wiimote, but I don't really have a problem with that either.
You are now manually breathing.

So, you can only attack with the wiimote? That sucks. When will developers learn that NOBODY likes having to constantly waggle the wiimote back and forth for combat?

Hopefully, if this is real, they will have learned that no one enjoys those controls and leave them out.

Well I do. Its far more fun than repeatedly tapping the same button for combat!
