I never said it was a good idea to brag about your sex life. But you two are acting like there isn't some sort of double standard. Yes I'm sure a woman would get offended, but you can't honestly sit there and say that men and women wouldn't both be more likely to get offended if it was a gay man bragging about his sex life?DoNotDelete wrote:It doesn't matter what your orientation is, if you feel you have to brag about it to your friends (or complete strangers) you must be insecure or an attention seeker of sorts.epona4 wrote:They do that with their friends. If there's a woman around they'll get extremely offended and other people would, like you said, think he's a booty. They'll also think he's some sort of pervert.Marluxia.Kyoshu wrote: Why should we take anything less than equality?
There are men who do that kind of thing all the time 'HEY BRO I TOTALLY FUCKING BANGED THAT CHICK, IT WAS SO GREAT, LET ME TELL YOU....' sure some people may think he's a bit of a booty, but no one would (usually) throw a hissey fit, get violent, or become extremely offended.
It's the same when homosexuals do it, except they'll think all gay people are perverts. Why? You tell me.
If you're gonna do something like that just do it with your friends.
I thought the only people who needed to know about what went on in a relationship were the two individuals directly involved. I guess that makes me either old fashioned or means I don't give a rat's arse what people think, or both.
Also, the majority of this thread is about people bragging about their orientation to complete strangers.
You all win the internet.
Didn't think so.
I'm not trying to condone assy actions, I just think that people should handle gay asses and straight asses the same way. Double standards are totally non-heinous bro.
