The Japanese tend to be more loose with their censorship.
For example, we ABSOLUTELY do not tolerate much blood or sexual references in our cartoons, but looking at how much there's some of that in animes like Bleach and Naruto, those shows are considered to be children shows over there.
Baffled and intrigued me when I first learned this.
oh no my second page get tonight. Someone Stop Me before it gets out of hand again!

Do you see why I love Japan now?
Speaking of Japan and movies, apparently Japan has a lot of very short movies. There's a 6 minute Azumanga Daioh movie, actually.

It's funny too, because they have some of the lowest crime rates in the world and we have some of the highest. hehe
De-De-Railing the topic, I really loved this anime movie called Paprika. it was very psychological and had a lot of interesting ideas about our dreams. i just loved the wackiness of it. :awesome:

The Butterfly Effect. Ashton Kutcher is delicious eye candy. That movie made me cry so hard.
The Grudge also had a lasting effect on me. It's been 4 years and I still can't sleep with the lights off.
