Guilty, I did it too. I used to imagine every once in a while that the guy would trip and keep on going hitting every obstacle in the way and then arriving home a pile of disfigured human.
But that was only when I was upset.

I used to pretend that he'd jump from obstacle to obstacle.
He had his work cut out for him when we went through the woods.

I was always just pretending that the sidewalk/driveway/road was lava and he could only run on the grassy parts of people's lawns.

oh right yes, but for me everything ground level was lava, he had to stay above at all times.
sometimes... he had to noclip some places

My actually looked like a black track runner for some reason. He was very tall and lanky. I remember that he was bald and used to wear a white shirt with no sleeves, white shorts, and super white oversized tennis shoes.

Mine was an Eevee. Don't ask.
He'd jump from tree to tree, run along telophone wires, and whenever our car would stop he'd just sit where he was and rest for a while.
Until he was forced to get up and sprint for his life again.
