Children and the Elderly. No matter what, it seems like most of my job is devoted to cleaning up after people in diapers.

Accidentally spoiled my birthday surprise just now by making some space on the dinner table to work, and thinking a package under the chair was yet another empty box lying around.

It bothers me when Nintendo fanboys try to pass off a "second party" game as an original Nintendo IP. Splatoon is an original Nintendo IP. Wonderful 101 and Xenoblade Chronicles are not. The companies that made those games COULD go to another console, but I'm sure Ninty is paying them mucho dinero to stay.

It's the other way around actually. Platinum and Monolith went to every other publisher and got told to fuck off. Nintendo was the only one willing to take a chance.

Ah, didn't know that.
Regardless, my point stands.

My oven last year cooked hot and this year I'm in a different apartment and the oven cooks a little cool and IT'S THROWING OFF MY BAKING MOJO.

Mine will cook anywhere from 25-75 degrees hot, and I have no way of guessing what it'll decide to do that day. Makes it a bit difficult to bake cakes.

Haha, that was pretty much mine last year. This year it's a bit more consistent, I just need to bake things around 2-3 minutes longer than the recipe says to.

doesn't help that my oven is bodaciously as old as my grandmother.

Annoying innit? Just keep your cool and think beyond them. That's what I… try… to do.Obnosim wrote:I'm feeling feelings for someone and it won't go away.

Thanks.Le Great Handsome Oppressor wrote:Annoying innit? Just keep your cool and think beyond them. That's what I… try… to do.
I manage to be detached enough to make it an annoyance rather than an inconvenient. Sometimes I almost get the motivation to be honest about it just to be done with it but then I think about the chain of reactions and the fact that I don't know if I can deal with rejection in the first place.
