It's pretty much confirmed that Chris is virtually unable to tell reality from fiction, so it does make sense. He is also naive.

Oh shit now I feel bad about liking MLP if chris-chan has such a boner over it

but then again he likes pokemon and I don't give ten shits about that

No, no. Tito sent him a picture of a guy photoshopped to look like an IRL version of Tito and claimed it was his photo.

Liquid is still the best troll. Chris actually thought Liquid was some guy who had hit himself in the head and thought he was Chris. Then he realized he was a troll and tried to pretend he was Liquid in an attempt to steal his girlfriend.

I won't elaborate too much. I will say that it was all his fault and he was given the option of burning the medal instead but he didn't want to go looking for matches.
