Sonic Chonicles, on the other hand, sounds very interesting. Speaking as someone who had pretty much left the Sonic fandom for Star Ocean and Final Fantasy.

sonic r was terrible too
but sonic 06 had various glitches, bad story, silver the hedgehog, and the bestiality parts don't help much.
