Re: Western Cartoons/Comics
I've been watching the new Thundercats since the beginning and I think it's pretty awesome. But is there anyone else who also thinks that the plot has been less well written in season 2?
Somehow I feel like the action isn't as fast paced and they're sort of shoehorning in a lot of character development in as little time as possible.

I can understand where you're coming from. Some of the character development does feel kind of shoe-horned, but I believe that it's lot better than most other cartoons I've seen recently. The back story for Wilykit and kat was pretty cool, but Tigra's was kind of meh.
Still, the next episode looks pretty promising. They're going to attack a big mining facility and rescue a bunch of cats.

Interesting fact: A special episode of Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes will feature Kevin Conroy (BTAS Batman) as Star Lord. If you are not familiar with Star Lord:

Definitely seems to be playing against type.

Awesome. I can't wait for tomorrow.
Also, Thundercats, Green Lantern, and Young Justice were pretty great today.

Starlord was really cool before the atrocity that was the Thanos Imperative.

The comic book store I found ran out of free comic books by the time I got there. SADDEST DAY, but I got a discounted volume 4 of Chew, which was sweet.

A lot of the free comics did'nt look appealing to me, and I already spent a lot of cheddar at my favorite comic shop on Wednesday, so I couldn't really spend much more.

Did anybody else see today's ep of the Avengers on Disney XD? I thought it was pretty solid. Same with Ultimate Spider-Man.

Is this before or after the dude from BET bought the rights to the series?Clyve wrote:I got a couple free comics and bought a bunch of discount Black Panther.
Supes and Wolverine ain't got shit on my main man T'Challa.
WAKANDA 4 LYFE
I may be getting that wrong, I just remember someone related to BET got involved in Black Panther and many claim that was a decline in the series. Lots of sudden pop culture references strewn about and such.

I just bought some Atomic Robo trades.
Atomic Robo is one of my favorite series ever. It's written by the same guy who created 8-Bit Theatre. Go buy it NOW.
