Staff and students had a surprise last week when they discovered a Dalek in their school, West Exe Learning Centre in St. Thomas, Devon. The prop appeared to have been abandoned, with no clue as to where it had come from.

Sue Willey, deputy manager of West Exe Learning Centre, said:
"We're not sure where he has come from or who he belongs to. It is a full-size replica and stands at about 5ft tall. You can even sit inside him. It's not every day you get a Dalek arrive at your school and he did cause a bit of a stir to start with. The kids liked him but I think they're starting to lose interest now. I don't think they're into Doctor Who really. We'd like to return him to his owner if possible because he's taking up quite a lot of room and is living in a cupboard at the moment."
Police were also involved in the incident but were unable to trace the owner. Detective Constable Caroline Prince, of Exeter's burglary team, said:
"We believe this Dalek has come from somewhere in Exeter, but we have had no one reporting a stolen or missing Dalek so we don't know who it belongs to. If anyone can help us identify the owner of the Dalek, we would be very grateful so we can return it to its rightful owner."
With no owners having come forward to claim it, the Dalek now resides at a film and television memorabilia store in Exeter. Shop owner and Doctor Who enthusiast John Hadlow said:
"I felt so sorry for him being stuck in a school cupboard so I've brought him to the shop and he is stood next to the other Dalek. He is also going to have a bit of a refurb and be tidied up. No one has come forward to claim him since the appeal in the Echo so we can only assume he was dumped."

So that's pretty awesome.

Oh my god.

Do they make Weeping Angel statues? I mean, like the 'statues' in Doctor Who, not a generic gravemarker statue, but actually a Weeping Angel monster statue. Hands over face.

I would sit one in my yard.

That would be awesome, but the Weeping Angels are actually actors.

People have speculated the following things.

The master is back.
Omega is back.
The Doctor meets himself again.
The Doctor's Daughter back.
River Song is a Time Lord.
etc.

Someone pointed out that Bangkok is the City of Angels
So Horror of Bangkok would be Horror of Angels.

But the Master got pulled back to the Time War with the rest of the Time Lords in the End of Time (episode where #10 regenerated into #11).
And people have been speculating Omega's return for years.
#11 meeting #10 would be a great episode. But which companion would #10 have? Donna would be best. I mean, just think about it.
Haha, yes! With G.I. Jane out exploring the universe, she'd have to run into the Doctor again at some point. Although, this is #11 now.
River Song is a possible candidate for being the Rani, you know. Of all the new series women characters (that matter), River and the Woman. The Woman is fan-name for this person:

But she got sent back to the Time War with the Master and James Bond- I mean "Rassilon".

So much good stuff.

Also, apparently one of the series 6 episodes takes place in a giant doll house. Sounds like fuuunnn.

I'm watching Blink again.

First, the series 6 opening story will be in two parts, will include River Song, will be filmed in Utah and will involve the Oval Office.
BBC America has reported that Doctor Who is to film part of the 2011 series in the United States.

The special two-part series opener will feature key scenes filmed in Utah, for a story set in the late ’60s in which the Doctor, Amy and Rory find themselves on a secret summons that takes them on an adventure from the desert in Utah – right to the Oval Office itself.

The news confirms reports taken from the online CV of Producer David Mason posted earlier this week.

The series has filmed in the country before, with parts of Daleks in Manhattan being filmed in New York City. However no scenes involving the Doctor have been shot in the country before.

The full Press Release can be seen at BBC America's website and media coverage at Doctor Who in the Media.
The BBC announced today that season six of Doctor Who, which delivered record ratings for BBC AMERICA earlier this year, will open with a spectacular two-parter set in the U.S. and penned by ‘Who supremo’ Steven Moffat.

Production on episodes one and two of the new season starts in Cardiff this month and Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill will then travel to America in mid November to shoot pivotal scenes. They will also be joined by Alex Kingston who reprises her role as River Song.

Showrunner and lead writer, Steven Moffat, said: “The Doctor has visited every weird and wonderful planet you can imagine, so he was bound get round to America eventually! And of course every Doctor Who fan will be jumping up and down and saying he’s been in America before. But not for real, not on location – and not with a story like this one! Oh, you wait!”

Piers Wenger, Head of Drama BBC Wales and Executive Producer, added: “Steven’s scripts generally inspire us to go that extra mile – this time we’re going that extra four thousand. Thanks to our friends at BBC America and to the continuing ambition of our lead writer and production team, the first two episodes of Matt Smith’s second season as the Doctor are going global and look set to become Doctor Who’s most action-packed and ambitious season opener yet.”

2010 has been a breakthrough year for the Doctor Who franchise across all platforms since BBC America became the official home of the series. The series reached the number one spot on the “Top TV Seasons” chart on iTunes and now Doctor Who: The Complete Fifth Season hits stores on Blu-ray and DVD on November 9.
Second, Doctor Who Live. I wish I was in England.

Enemies being featured will be Daleks, Cybermen, Weeping Angels (that sounds like the best part, really), the clockwork French aristocrats from the Girl in the Fireplace, Smilers (the three-faced creepy booth heads on Starship UK), Winders (half human, half Smiler), Ood, Judoon, Silurian warriors, Scarecrows (Family of Blood), and Saturnynes (Vampires of Venice).

Trailer for DW Live

The Cybermen are looking awfully shiny. I hope they're an enemy in one of the series 6 episodes.
