oh man Legend of Koizumi is way too trippy for me. I've tried watching it before and I'm like "whaaaaa"
Plus I hate politics so political satire bores me.

I can't stop
listening
I really want to watch this show. The animation reminds me of Puffy AmiYumi, but better.
So far, Panty is my favorite character.

So the Diamond and Pearl anime series ended today.
Let's hope that whoever voices Iris' mother in the English dub (if she even has one) does a better job that Johanna's dub voice actor, who can't voice act worth a shit.
I just looked up who voiced Johanna. Sarah Natochenny. Same person who voices Ash and Delia Ketchum.
Anyway, just watched the last episode and it was pretty good, actually.
One of the best parts is right at the beginning.
Everyone is in Dawn's house. After Piplup wakes up Dawn, they go downstairs and Brock is looking at stuff Johanna has, Pikachu is balancing on top of a large ball (which is rolling everywhere), and Johanna is making a salad (crazy breakfast). Dawn asks where Ash is, and Brock says he must still be upstairs sleeping. Dawn crouches down by Pilup and Pikachu and says they should go wake up Ash. They head upstairs, and they open the door to the room Ash is sleeping in. They all look in, and Ash is sprawled out on his back on the bed, one of his legs and arms hanging off the side. Pikachu sneaks in, and Piplup cheers quietly as Pikachu gets ready to shock Ash awake.
Pikachu shocks Ash, who jumps up then falls back to the bed with a crash. Dawn steps in, and says something (I don't understand Japanese, okay?), which I assume is something about breakfast, and Ash grabs Pikachu and runs out of the room. There is a series of crashes, and we see Johanna and Brock staring at something. Then we see Dawn standing on a landing halfway up the stairs, staring down at Ash who fell down the stairs quite spectacularly.
And this episode features the return of Team Rocket's Delibird.
Here's the link if you're interested. It's in Japanese. Haven't found a subbed version yet.
Also posted in the Pokemon thread in video games. But this is about the anime, so eh.

Sometimes, Japan, I have no choice but to
think you're awesome.
In other news Bleach Chapter 419:
Aizen evolved AGAIN. This isn't Pokemon, Kubo! He looks like Venom with wings/tentacles.
Ichigo is about to use
The Spirit Bom- I mean, "The final Getsuga Tenshou"
The plot makes sense if you've seen this kind of movie/anime before.
The villain becomes psychotic, the hero just has to act cool and badass and he'll win.
Now finish this shit, Kubo!

Few days ago I remembered an anime which I liked watching when I was around 10th grade. I never finished it because I had to temporarily stop and when I wanted to continue I wasn't able to find the videos anymore.
Anyways, the anime I mean is Twin Spica, it's about a young girl whos dream is to become an astronaut. She's accompanied by a ghost who is constantly wearing a lion mask.
Every episode is such a tear jerker, when they talk about the past of each person it's just heart wrenching. I bodaciously cried my soul out at the episode where they showed an occurence in the childhood of the girl where she was dead for a short time and she found her mom in the afterlive.
Normally I'm not really fond of slice of life shows, but I really like Twin Spica. The characters have such an amazing consistency, you feel with them and what they went and are going trough. I really should see if I can find the episodes again and watch it from the beginning to the end.

That show does sound really good, Tatzel.
Is there only a cartoon or is there a comic to go with it?
