Lots of think people Kyon's the real god. (I've got my own opinions on it but w/e)
Also, because in the first scene, it goes Taniguchi -> Kyon -> Suzumiya, it means his last name must start with T or S.
The author's name is Tanigawa Nagaru.

[5/13/2013 11:55:56 PM] Mr.Mander: "Obama announces Boys Love japanese textbook manga anthology" WOULD make a much better headline

YES.
I do so love looking at witty signatures.
This is not one of those signatures.

Yeah, I kinda thought about the Kyon = "God" thing myself the second time I saw the anime, and it makes some kind of sense that Kyon, who couldn't really stop believing in aliens, espers and stuff, but who prides himself in being rational, would "project" his powers on Haruhi. I don't really suscribe to the Kyon = Tanigawa Nagaru thing, it sounds stupid
Someday in the Rain is strange, too. The beginning in particular, when Kyon seems to suddenly become aware that the audience is waiting for something to happen. When he's talking Tsuruya, and later Taniguchi and Kunikida, there are those strange "pauses" when Kyon is thinking too. It really looks like they're aware of the audience and let Kyon get on with his narration, just like they were performing in a theatre. Taniguchi even looks at the "camera". Really, that episode was strange. Since Tanigawa wrote it himself, it must be canon too. Dang, more questions...

Ah, but you're making the assumption that the anime and the books share the same canon. Remember Remote Island Syndrome? In the anime, Kyon's Sister goes with them and they do not get drunk. Plenty of other differences can be noted, such as in Day of Saggitarius III and Endless Eight. As such, we can see that the anime runs off of a different canon than the books do. I also have my own ideas about Haruhi = God. I think it is possible that she is an Ordinary Human Being, and happens to have these abilities because Ordinary Human Beings can have these powers, but she is able to use them because she doesn't believe it's impossible. I'm one or two books behind, though, so I'm not sure how the Anti-SOS Brigade fits into that.
it does look like a children's card game, and it is in space, so i dunno.
Uhm I don't know, I'm sorta curious to see how the ironman thing works out but otherwise I don't really have any interest in anything on the list. Which I guess is good, I got too much to catch up on as is.
Letter Bee sounds awesome, although the fact that it's made by Studio Pierrot gives me some doubts. (it seems like the level of quality in their work varies so much)
Panty and Stocking's art style looks cool, but it looks like that this is gonna be a mostly fanservice series so fsdaf (although it is Gainax so I guess that's to be expected)
I can't wait for Iron Man omgomg I love Madhouse
oh man Sora no Otoshimono Forte sounds so original.ugh
