The Haruhi anime is great. Haruhi is a sociopath though.

It's only interesting to watch the series in that order if you already watched it in the broadcast order.
Here's the chronological order, not including the second season:
2
3
5
10
13
14
4
7
6
8
1
12
11
9

Has anyone seen the movie Tokyo Godfathers?

I really, really like it. It was so funny and sad.

I can't find volume 4 of Gunsmith Cats anywhere. I need closure, dammit!

I have! I watch it every Christmas since I got the DVD, it's one of my favorite films

I enjoy Satoshi Kon's films, including Paprika and Perfect Blue which I also have

I love Tokyo Godfathers, so good. One of the first not-shounen animu I ever saw.
I haven't seen it in a while though. Maybe I'll rent it when the holidays roll around.

I always thought the books were better. And made much more sense.

I'm actually lying, they don't... to normal people, anyway.

The books are better. I've read them all up until the last one (which hasn't been released yet)
And the books, while just as crazy as the anime, do make way more sense.
The anime had Yuki attack Mikuru while filming and it wasn't explained until the next season was made, which was three years later.
The anime's chronological order is all fucked up as well, even if you DO put the episodes in order, there's still several events missing. (which were added in the second season also)

The anime is not complete but will eventually be. Also, did you see the Disappearance movie?

Don't forget the flanderization that happens in the anime (Haruhi's sociopathy, for example, tends to not be as bad in the books).

Wait, didn't the movie come out recently? I need to get on that...

I have watched a few episodes of Hayate: The Combat Butler (I have trouble sitting down and actually WATCHING IT, though), and I was wondering something:

See, I saw a site this past day about fansub failure, and Hayate was on it. It was when he's imagining talking to Santa and Santa says that the reason why he never brings Hayate any presents is because his family is poor.

I saw that fansub, and I'm pretty sure that that was the correct translation (and it does make sense with the way Hayate is written), but I'm wondering: Is it, in fact, a fansub fail?

Yes, I did.
It was fucking amazing by the way and made me love the anime again.(endless eight was a disaster)

Guess I've got anime problems

But yeah, I thought it was really interesting and well-made. I won't lie, I think 8 episodes is too much, but I still loved Endless Eight. 4 or 6 episodes would've been definitely better though, 'cause we didn't get many other stories covered.

Aw yeah Vol. 2 Disc 1 of Gurren Lagann finally came in the mail.
Now I can get back to watching an animu I should've finished watching three years ago.
