Saw Real Steel today, which was awesome, but one thing I still can't figure out.

was Atom sentient or something? Because the kid asked "Can you under stand me? Dont worry, your secret is safe with me." Did he just not know about the shadow box feature or something?

Every time I see the name of that movie, I see Red Steel until I look again.

I just tried watching Ghostbusters for the first time. But Tuxedo Mask's family wouldn't shut the fuck up. They couldn't go 10 seconds without saying something.

So I just walked out.

I'm pretty sure that's what everyone says after they see it.

It's like you go in expecting a movie that's just all fun and then nope, it's genuinely good.

Which ironically I think that's why I hear so many people say they didn't like it.

I feel a bit bad that you still need to see it, but I understand.
It's a good film, and very quotable, but if you're in the company of someone who hasn't seen it then it is your duty to shut up.

Also just a few minutes ago I told dad that Shrek was made by Dreamworks, not Pixar (he was using the Shrek series as an example of why Pixar will most likely make more Toy Story sequels/prequels/whatever), and he essentially said that I was a pedant for "nitpicking over minor details".

Many facepalmings ensued.

So I just watched Human Centipede last night.

I had hoped my stomach would stop churning once I woke up.
