I usually use imdb/metacritic to give me a heads-up on movies. It works if you know what kind of movies they like and don't like.

I watched "The Time Traveler's Wife" yesterday. Sad/Romantic movies aren't suppose to have crazy sci-fi mind fucking. Great ending, though. Alba is the worst secret keeper ever.
