Saw Real Steel today, it was pretty darn good.

The fights weren't brutal enough, probably because of the licensing, Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots would have been better if they allowed the heads to come completely off, instead of the elongated necks.

Which makes reviewing Transformers: Boxing hard to do, it focuses too much on the humans, something they should've learned to avoid by now.

But in the end, being turned into a robot was beneficial for Sylvester Stallone, letting him have one last fight, which makes Rocky 7 here a must see.

So, I finally saw it.

Transformers 3.

I didn't gouge my eyes out, so most reviews I've heard are at least somewhat exaggerated.

I noticed something that I probably should have noticed in the first. Now I know why it always sounds weird when any of the Transformers speaks. They all have very clear human voices, which is obviously so people watching the movie can understand them, but wouldn't it be better if the voices were mechanical and sounded like they were being projected from a hundred feet in the air?

I saw both Bruno and Hostel II last night.

Bruno was funny and interesting at the same time, although of course way over the top. Still, you got to hand it to the guy, he has some serious Balls of Steel.

Hostel II was a good horror movie but I expected more. The ending felt a bit rushed.

In Time.

The only thing keeping me from seeing it is Mr. N Sync. Balancing that out though is Olivia Wilde, Matthew Bomer, Johnny Galecki, Cillian Motherfucking Murphy, and a soft sci-fi plot so absurd that it should be terribly interesting.

Scott Pilgrim vs the world is such an awesome movie with all the video game references and still being quite funny.

I won't be seeing Drive this morning. It is far too stormy to leave the house.
Shit.
