Why would universal studios lie to meeeeeExeres wrote:That's not...
No, there is no such thing as a four-dimensional movie.
Unless you count Back to the Future.

Why would you watch 3D movies when you know you won't see it?NDividedByZero wrote:I actually bodaciously never notice the 3D when watching a movie. Whoever is watching it with me says it's there, but I don't notice it. I guess I'm used to it because just about all of the movies I see in theatres these days are 3D.

Rented Bridesmaids today. It was pretty slow at the beginning but once it got going it was really funny.

Just got back from Contagion. Too long, the ending didn't bring closure to anything, that blogger was an asshole, and it was hard to even care about any of the characters.
I was not entertained.

Funny I was mentioning what I had heard about Contagion to my mom earlier today. She informed me on the local news people were getting scared by the movie. I found this to be hilariously ridiculous.

Re: Movies
Did people seriously just fall over dead mere moments after the disease "spread"? I've gotten that vibe from the movie that the disease is supposed to be like a wall of death or something, and if so... I'll probably hate it as much as I hate The Core for the pseudoscience bullshit.BicPentameter wrote:Just got back from Contagion. Re: Movies
Actually, the disease spread was done pretty well. Someone with the disease coughs into their hand, they touch some other surface that hundreds of people touch everyday, shit happens. The CDC and FEMA actually did their jobs, and they explained the whole "R-O #" thing. The first strain has a "R-O" of 2. Meaning first there were two sick, and then four, and then sixteen. Then it gets worse by mutating and it gains a "R-O" of 4 and kills more people over the course of I think three months.
The ending is a bit ridiculous though because the entire fucking movie wouldn't have happened if one god-daisies chinese chef had just washed his fucking hands.
