Went and saw "The Help" the other day with my mom. Fantastic fucking movie. Very powerful, and funny as all hell.
Also saw a documentary called "A Complete History of my Sexual Failures" about a british guy who is really creepy and awkward and tries to make a movie about how he's been dumped by a whole slew of women. He intended to interview them all and see why he was so terrible at everything. Shit is hilarious and off the wall. If you have Netflix or can find it anywhere, I highly recommend it if you want to watch something really stupid and fun.

Watched Heartless and The Silent House with some dudes from /x/. Heartless wasn't very good, and also kind of random. The Silent House is pretty slow at first, but it's creepy as all fuck and I liked it. Though it was subbed and goddamn, whoever did the subs sucked. Half the stuff was Engrish.
So I recommend Heartless as a shitty movie to make fun of, and The Silent House as a good creepy movie.

Am I the only one who watches movies with the family that they all love and have fun watching, while I'm silently hating them all for making me watch this piece of shit?

Yep, because I stand up and walk out when it gets to that point. Unless it's a theater.
They cannot make me watch Durr Hurrd 4 no matter how much they may love it.

I get in giant arguments with my mom about movies that essentially boil down to
"Well I thought it was good."
"Mom you think the recent Eddie Murphy movies are good."
"They are."
"No. They're not, and that's the problem with this conversation."
and thus when we actually DO go out to see a movie, I pick, because nobody over the age of 20 in my family has any sort of coherent understanding of what is worth the 20$ per person.

Not worth watching
I just watched I love you Philip Morris, which was really rad. Then I watched Tokyo Gore Police, which was hilarious.

I dunno. I liked them alright. Horrible movies, but like, I love Ben Stiller.
I like a lot of movies just because of actors. They're terrible most of the time (why can't you be in a decent movie jim carry why) but like I just want to watch these guys all the time forever.

Watched Green Hornet.
Can't say I enjoyed it.
Also, why do so many heroes' names start with "Green"?
