I really only disliked the epilogue. It seemed just way too perfect. Rather than ending on a simple high note after victory over darkness Rowling went "PRESENTS!" and dropped every single wish fulfillment on the surviving characters.

Book 6 was my favorite. Learning about the Gaunts, Merope, and all about Voldemort's past. Too bad very little of that made it to the movie. :' (

I just came back from Deathly Hallows Part 2.


Cried a bit (not Toy Story 3 levels, but still), but the way Voldemort yelled AVADA KEDAVERA never failed to make me chuckle. It was just so rediculous.

If someone took me to see it then I'd be okay with that, but other than that I don't really have any motivation to go see it. I kinda lost interest in the HP series a while back.

My theater didn't get Winnie the Pooh dammit.

It's bad enough that the facade of a movie series (HP) took away all the interest for any families to go see WTP, but Disney obviously put minimal effort into advertising it despite the high animation quality showed in the trailers. Just confirms that Disney is officially sick of 2D animation and doesn't give a daisies.

Saw Harry Potter with the family. Stuck to the book fairly well, but did deviate at parts. Particularly the random chase/fight scene before the duel. Did we really need that? Book has Harry get up, talks a bit about the Elder Wand, then the two throw their spells and Voldemort dies.

Winnie the Pooh was amazing 8.5/10

Some things were a little off.
Rabbit was cool but seemed a little different.
The way they drew Christopher Robbin plus his new voice was very off but still enjoyable.
The songs were great, so were the 4th wall breaks.
The movie can stand on it's own merit without having to rely on nostalgia to sucker in the people my age.
I laughed, I teared welled up a tiny bit at the end.
Go see it.
