Re: Movies
Wow. I don't think I've ever heard somebody refer to James Bond as "beautiful" before.

I would describe Moonraker as whimsical.

Re: Movies
Aardman's efforts are haphazard to say the least.
I was a big fan of James Bond when I was a kid, but the appeal wore off eventually.
I'm not a fan of LotR, HP or James Bond tbh.Chekt wrote:Oh, Armond White. You such a troll.
Now that the Harry Potter series is over, maybe the truth can be realized: This has been the dullest franchise in the history of movie franchises.
The precedent was already set by Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings debacle-unintelligible fantasy epics that people went to out of consumerist habit and left unable to recount or fondly recall.
The Harry Potter series might be anti-Christian (or not), but it's certainly the anti-James Bond series in its refusal of wonder, beauty and excitement. No one wants to face that fact. Now, thankfully, they no longer have to.

Re: Movies
I started watching First Blood a year ago and I just finished it today.
The action scenes were pretty awesome.

Man I haven't seen that yet. I really want to see it. But I had a feeling I was going to be disappointed somewhat.Spoony wrote:Tentatively intrigued

NPH is the reason I'm seeing the Smurfs.
Man, I still plan on seeing Beastly just cuz he's in it, and that looks like the "best" teen drama of the decade.

Shitty CGI/live-action family films are what I live for.
The other night a friend and I saw Mr. Popper's Penguins at 9:55 PM, and we were the only two people in the theatre, it was pretty fun.
