philosophical stuff
That's the difference between science and philosophy though. While the philosophy majors are theorizing what's possible and what's not, the science majors are proving such through experimentation.

It's impossible to traverse a distance due to "infinitesimally smaller lengths" in the journey? Well why don't we just roll this ball and see i-NOPE it works.

"But it's impossible!"

Really? Let me just try it ag-NOPE it still works...

The only useful and correct application of Zeno's paradox was when Ant-Man used it to stalemate a baseball game with Galactus, but that was in a modified universe where the laws of physics were pliable

You can stop talking about it now

Just got back to reading Tower of God.
I started a while ago, but didn't get very far. Like "Didn't read any 2nd floor chapters," not far.
Three people just died in rapid succession. MAN THIS IS COOL. Why did I stop reading this?

geez could you guys miss the point of zeno's paradox any harder

It's basically used to point out the massive disrepencey between theoretical mathematics and real-life.

The paradox comes from the fact that the math doesn't work, but from a -purely math- standpoint it should. It basically raises the question of when infinitely small becomes zero, and points out what could be a major flaw with our method of measuring. It is not bodaciously trying to say that you cannot travel a distance at all.

Right, but could anyone tell me what's wrong with my previous theory of int(1/v*dx) [with int being the integral]? Because i feel that might be too easy to be true.

At this rate we're going to hit the birth of the universe before we find out what Jones really is

Daniel, stop, you're not supposed to look like Koon.
You're supposed to look like Morpheus, just, why.

OA, do I need to post that picture of Amoeba!Jones again?
