Zeno's paradox is stupid for sure, but I thought Plato's cave was a useful metaphor for being unsure about whether the information you learn is true or colored by bias or ignorance.

I only found Zeno's paradox really stupid. Then I googled it and found out he made half a dozen other ones that are all just as dumb.

Supposedly when Diogenes heard Zeno's paradox he didn't even say anything, he just got up and started walking to prove him wrong.

I wonder if it's possible to mathematically rebuke it using infinitesimal parts.

We only glazed over it in Philosophy class, probably because the professor shared our opinion that it was very silly.

We covered it in our philosophy class for like 10 minutes.

I had to restrain myself from calling it bullshit.

Luckily, our prof said it for us.

I had one of those professors that tries to be enthusiastic about every theory. Every time we got done discussing a new idea, he'd stop and say something like, "Alright, who feels like getting onboard with Spinoza" but he just rushed right along with this one. I think it was supposed to be building up to modern quantam theories but I can't really remember.
