Someone at the xkcd forums said the full size is about 165888x79872 pixels, made of a mosaic of at least a few hundred .png panels.

I've reached the left, right, and bottom limits, but every time I try to find the top limit, I get lost in the infinite blankness.

Update: Okay, as impressive as this comic is, the forumites are even more impressive for having already found ways to cheat. Some of them actually managed to break down and recreate the whole thing as a giant image, but someone else found an easy way to cheat using Firefox. Press Ctrl+Shift+K to open the code console, then enter this code:

document.getElementById('comic').style.overflow='';

Then you can zoom out to see as much as you want, and zoom in if you can't see something well enough.

I went down those pipes, they go on forever. I eventually came back up upon an island with a palm tree, if that wasn't a giant cave at least. Also found Minecraft and Star Wars references, among others.
