TBH, not that great of a comic. Here's a rant from somewhere about Scott's update schedule.

Seriously, I think MegaTokyo updates more regularly than you now.
I'm not sure, but last time I checked Piro is dealing with raising a toddler and his wife has cancer.

Every other webcomic I read (a significant number, from manestream to underdogs) seems to have their shit together, churning out more quality comics on schedule, besides having more shit to do.

Seriously. Penny Arcade's office of under 20 people organize a mega-con. Ryan Sohmer and crew are running 3 beautifully drawn, full color webcomics and an animation studio (note, productive, hardworking, AWESOME Canooks!). Scott Kurtz and Kris Straub voice and animate a cartoon as well as strive to help new webcomic artists get started.

And, gonna throw this in, Awkward Zombie has kept a better schedule since than you she was 15 on Deviant Art.

The AZ line had me rolling. Scott really does need to get his shit together. I mean, his art is eye pleasing and his expressions are great, but his writing sucks. And the update schedule? I could care less. I just found the rant funny.

I still enjoy VGCats, don't get me wrong. Just not nearly as much as all the other webcomics I read.

I find it hilarious that he used to refuse to do anime comics and now it's a pony comic.

The jokes have been getting worse and lazier, and there are plenty of higher-quality and better-scheduled webcomics. It wouldn't be a problem if Scott just did this for fun, like Kate Beaton or Randall Munroe, but Scott gets pissy and attacks anyone offering criticism.

One webcomic artist is getting lazy, it's the end of the world.

He took the Bunny Ears wearing Sonic comic out for a while and that one's brilliant. The way he takes comics out of his archives because they aren't up to his personal standards makes me think he's got a bunch of comics drawn he's never bothered posting. They'll make a great postmortem release when he dies in eighty something years.

And while we're on the subject of videogame felines. This is loosely connected. http://www.catghost.net because the word filter while otherwise hilarious actually changes the URL link to the comic into something useless.
