Ahaha no that's on my first character, I used guns on him.
I'm planning on going after him when I grab a mini nuke.

Re: Fallout General: The war has changed
It won't be enough.
Re: Fallout General: The war has changed
You know what will be enough? A couple of well placed AMR rounds to the head. It'll take a few of them, and so help you God if you get spotted, but you make it out of there alive you come out with not only the sense that you did something few other men can say they've done, but fewer 50 cal rounds than you had before!
The second one's not quite as good as the first. Them shits expensive.

I always just climb as high as I can on that rock crusher thingy and liberally apply bullets and explosions.

That's what I did.
He walked so far away that he only appeared through my scope, it was great.

Re: Fallout General: The war has changed
Just got to the Strip. Now to confront Benny alone in his apartment because Mr. House really wants his chip. Also was there some sort of even where Victor dies? Because I show up to the strip and one of the dialogue options was something along the lines of "I saw you get destroyed."
Stuff goes here later.

Yeah he can die, but his personality just jumps to a different securitron.
Mine walked into the water when trying to fight Lake lurkers.

Re: Fallout General: The war has changed
I figured he could die, I just never saw him do it. That's why I was confused when my character says he saw him get destroyed.
Also I need some better armor because as nice of a DT the spacesuit and helmet have I'd like to look like an adventurer instead of an escaped astronaut.

I keep that in my inventory just in case I need it.
Also you could just buy armor like a little girl.
Or you know, kill everybody

Re: Fallout General: The war has changed
I do kill every hostile enemy and they only carry crappy leather armor or faction armor I sell immediately because it's too heavy. Huzzah for merchants being nearby after the Legionnaire assassins get their asses handed to them by my sniper rifle and All-American.

Re: Fallout General: The war has changed
I was attacked by a bunch of those guys when I was searching for some new armor, I only had 8dt so I was getting my booty kicked, I hid in one of those little white cylinder things that normally have beds in them, the name escapes me. ANd they just ran up to it and I used VATS to teleport out and kill them, it was pretty great.
Re: Fallout General: The war has changed
I generally pop the first one that tries approaching with the sniper rifle from stealth, take his armor, walk over behind the melee guy, pop him with the rifle, pop the hunting rifle guy who by this time has charged after Veronica (who has a Super Sledge), and then exchange fire with the machine gunner.

Re: Fallout General: The war has changed
Oh you know I just remembered, I got a long barrel mod for the grenade launcher, that should make shit easier.
Also I'm pretty mad at Lily, I gave her a machine gun and Oh baby! and she ate them both.
I don't know where they went but she doesn't have them anymore.

She's a super mutant, she may have bodaciously eaten them.
Re: Fallout General: The war has changed
Armor issues: Lonesome Road DLC has the best NCR ranger gear that also doesn't make you seem like NCR to everyone who would otherwise shoot NCR, but not you.
Weapon issues: The best weapon I've ever given anybody was Oh Baby! to Victoria because I'm not a melee guy, and I intended to keep her around for a bit anyway. Not even Boone got anything better than a hunting rifle (MAYBE with a scope attachment...MAYBE)
Also: Don't kill Benny right off. If you want revenge...like...true revenge...just don't. It'd also be in your best interest not to clear out the legion cove on the southeastern end of the map.
