Guild Wars 2: All Aboard the Mantrain
Re: Guild Wars 2: All Aboard the Mantrain
Do any of you guys also use custom keybinds? I tried to set mine up in a way that followed the order they're in on the bar so I can switch skillsets and classes easier.
(on an AZERTY):
ESDF: Movement
Swap Weapon: A
Weapon Skills: Q-Z-R-T-G (so that they follow a half circle around my hand
Healing and Utility Skills: 2-3-4-5
Elite Skill: V
Profession Skills: >-W-X-C
But I'm still having trouble quickly hitting the right keys. Maybe I'm just rusty.

I moved the profession skills to ZXCV

Guild Wars 2 is in an official Mac beta now, so you can expect to see more of me
It's Mander.2506 on Maguuma for reminders. See you in a few hours.

Re: Guild Wars 2: All Aboard the Mantrain
If I have one complaint about this game it's that the platforming can become incredibly frustrating with atrocious camera angles, wonky physics and respawning enemies with ridiculous knockback.
Re: Guild Wars 2: All Aboard the Mantrain
Yeah, I feel like the jump puzzles can be annoying because the jumping mechanics are so rigid, it's hard to accurately land where you want. I mean, that's what makes the jumping puzzles hard, because otherwise, you could fly right through them, but instead of actually making hard puzzles, they handicap the player's jumping ability...
Re: Guild Wars 2: All Aboard the Mantrain
For lots of jump puzzles I angle my camera completely above me, especially for those tiny platforms. I usually have a hard time discerning which slopes are slippery and which I can walk up though. Also being a Norn sucks doing them in caves and stuff
When you play the bassoon all life's other bassoon just seems to bassoon into bassoon
Re: Guild Wars 2: All Aboard the Mantrain
Climbing mountains reminded me off Morrowind, madly mash space in an attempt to get up slopes.
So I'm really enjoying my Necromacer, seems to have a good mix between survivability and firepower. I'm running a minion master sort of deal with blood fiend, bone minions (for putrid explosion), shadow fiend and flesh golem and a signet of spite for the power boost. Swapping between axe+dagger and staff gives me a lot of AoE damage and conditions. Almost level 40 now.

I didn't want to kill this guy... but... he was in my way.

I really like this game, though sometimes it can be a little weird.

Found white dye also, couldn't decide to sell or keep, but when I got my newest armor set and had some nice red to go with it, I knew what I had to do.

Re: Guild Wars 2: All Aboard the Mantrain
I really wish ANet would 100% fix all the maps. They got the skillpoints together but theres still Points of Interests in a lot of zones that I can't complete and thinking of all the XP and items I'm being cut off from is really frustrating

Re: Guild Wars 2: All Aboard the Mantrain
Well, I'm sure it's something they're working on, but it seems to me like there were quite a few bugs when it was released. The in-game shop and all guild stuff was down for the first few days after release and I think there are still some problems with overflow maps. Not to mention stuff like guesting that hasn't even been implemented yet and will probably introduce more problems that need to be fixed.Mr. Mander wrote:I really wish ANet would 100% fix all the maps.

There was a duping exploit to I think.

58 copper and 20 mystic coins for the month of September achievement?
At least give a gold or something, since it can only be done 12 times a year...

Tonics are account-bound which means I can't share them and have a tonic party with bros, this saddens me
One of the best times I ever had in GW1 was when me and Odds just spent an hour transforming into random shit
