Well, I used the search function and I didn't see an Animal Crossing Thread, and I haven't made a thread myself before, so TA DAH!

You can use this thread to discuss your experiences in the games, post screenshots and swap friend codes! And other stuff, too!~

So yeah, so far I only have Wild World and Let's go to the City (aka City Folk), but I'd like the 3DS version when that's out. I have never ever played the Gamecube version, but to be honest I don't think I missed out on too much, as Wild World was a good starting point, too. City Folk is my favourite game in the series, though.

Also, I've read through "The Terrible Secret of Animal Crossing", and it was awesome~ :D

The only times I got in contact with Animal Crossing it was through Smash Bros., through the games' soundtracks and through Ruby Quest

It's worth playing one of the games, if you don't mind it requiring half your life to keep everything peachy~

There is something really addictive about it though, like collecting a series of furniture and digging up fossils and the like.

Aw Animal Crossing is fun but, so daisies addicting! I can't wait for Animal Crossing 3DS, although I'm pretty sure I'll put way more hours then needed into having a good town.

I always start by chopping down every tree in town, like I'm some sort of crazy lumberjack running through the rain-forest. Then, I replant every tree in specific intervals until the town is perfect, like some sort of crazy, remorseful lumberjack with OCD.

I thought I was the only one. I chopped down all of the local fruits and replaced them with the foreign ones. All for bells, BELLS!

I loved Animal Crossing until I found out that my game's gate was glitched, so none of my friends could visit my house and improve Nook's store. I've played the Game Cube version a bit, but I still own my used version of the DS game.

I devoted countless days to perfecting my home and my town in the GC version.

Sadly, due to a combination of maturing and disinterest, I have not had as much success with the other versions.

But the 3DS one looks cool, I guess you officially get upgraded to mayor in this one? Makes sense.

Animal Crossing is pretty fun if you have a lot of time.

I pretty much sincerely dislike the idea of the entire game moving on without you, because I tend to like games to end at some point so I can get onto the next game.

The first two games just turned into a chore after the first three months. Just lost all their fun. City Folk I have not played because shit why would i play animal crossing where people can see me so I dunno if it got better or not.

If it dosen't, then I'll more than likely not even bother with the series ever again. Kinda sucks that every waking fucking moment has to be dedicated to keeping up a virtual village of assholes.

I played the DS game for a long time. I had my loyal friend Bones, a dog, who never left the town.
fun fun fun.

I think I will take a crack at the 3DS game.
