Ok I really don't want to derail this thread towards talking about autism for no reason but
Those repetitive behaviors are more prevalent in both children with autism, and adults with more severe forms of autism. Adults and young adults who would actually be playing Minecraft would probably be on the high-functioning end of the spectrum.
(Also just a point of interest because it's sort of a coincidence, but my mother has also been working with the state in the realm of mental health, was a caretaker for about 4 years, and was the director of a mental health institution and the hundreds of affiliated group homes for a great deal of time. I like to hear about other people affiliated with mental health because I did hella volunteering and whatnot.)
BUT ANYWAY YEAH BACK TO MINECRAFT N' WHATNOT

I agree with what whoever said earlier that minecraft would be better if Mojang focused on one world before adding others. I feel they should have been expansion packs or something instead of additions before the release. There are lots of things they could have added and polished before release in the normal world. Water/lava physics, AI, more monster and animal types, NPCs, more redstone stuff, more ores, many more crafting recipes, chunk design, biome design, server issues, multi-core (although this is very difficult) and so on.
This is no finished game, but this is indie and it is pushing the boundries. And yes. Notch is a dick IMHO. The premise of minecraft is great. But it could have been so much more.
Just waiting for Blockade Runner now. I hope it will be the Minecraft for Sci-Fi enthusiasts.
Minecraft is indie but Mojang has so much cheddar they could be doing anything with it now.

This.
Reminds me of the time on reddit Notch said he wouldn't add alligators because it would take too much time to code, and a couple of people did it within a day, and Notch got his Panties in a bunch and got rustled.
Hah, that's hilarious.

Yeah, minecraft does suck right now, but it's most likely going to get better. It has potential right now, and I hope that Notch sees that and has his team work on it.

Notch has actually alluded to having some kind of view or plan for where he wants Minecraft to go, but after the release it looks like he didn't follow through. There's no excuse for putting Minecraft out as a full $30 game in the state it is in, and I seriously doubt Notch still has direction if he declares this finished.
He actually said that after 1.9 comes 1.10. Instead, we don't even get an official 1.9 version before full release is declared.
