Bane only had to attack a sick Batman after letting every single other villain fight him to soften him up in order to win. But yeah...I guess Bane beat Batman. Bronze Tiger has a more legitimate claim to victory over him.

Sorry, but this quote gets a facepalm.

When Batman's spine was broken by bane, he chose Jean Paul Valley (Azrael) to enter his place as Batman, but His role as Batman was dark, to the point where he killed a villain, Tim Drake (Robin) told Bruce about it and he took off Jean in that role and placed Dick Grayson instead, issues later, Bruce returns as Batman.

That was during Knightfall arc of the comics

Azrael used that golden costume as batman because he considered "more deadly" I wasn't talking about the costume, I was talking about you saying that wasn't batman.

What I am trying to say is that he was batman TEMPORARILY, like I said in my first post.
