What if we even go on their page? Will that drop the virus too? Besides, I usually only friend people whom I know to at least be friends with someone on my friendslist, or via facebook friends.

I have no idea, but i kinda doubt it. Better safe then sorry and don't accept any friend requests you don't know.

You do realize that what you just said souspiciously sounds like one of those fake retarded warnings your not-computer-savvy friends keep sending you right? How could the fact that someone on your friends list adds those guys somehow affect your computer? Also if the whole "You get the virus from your friend list" is true then everybody except those who have no friends on their list would be screwed because due to the chain of connections betwenn the various friend lists EVERY STEAM USER would catch this virus. Furthermore, the "virus contacts" in these rumors are usually normal people who just rustled some asshole off, who then decided to pull a little prank on them.
