Abyss Watchers are being annoying. Exploring Cathedral of the Deep before I go after them again.
Also what class did you all start with and what's your current weapon?
I'm still using the Battle Axe from starting as a Warrior.
It's doing me well so far. It's currently at +3.
I've tried other strength weapons but I feel Battle Axe is a great balance of speed, weight and power.
Also Grass Crest Shield because dat stamina regen.

Started as Knight because I never started as a Knight before.

Currently walking around with a Sharp Claymore +4, with a Knight Crossbow as a secondary weapon. I keep a Fire Bastard Sword +3 and Hollowslayer Greatsword +2 in reserve based on enemies I may expect to encounter. For my shield, I'm used the one from the box in the tavern in High Wall of Lothric. I find the skills being useable while one-handing to be much more versatile than parrying.

I've stopped using all my starter gear by now. I have been piecing together random equipment for the sake of Fashion Souls.
I like how most of the metal generally looks similar enough in this game to mix and match.

I just beat the Deacons of the Deep. They were Witches of Hemwick level easy. Had more trouble with Kingdom Hearts bosses than them. :p
I guess I have to go fight the Abyss Watchers now.

Just beat Abyss Watchers. Summoning an NPC helped immensely.

My xbone download hit 25% which meant I could start the game and I got all the way to the Firelink Shrine before the game said "whoa slow down mister." I made one of those spear guys and it's pretty cool. I died like 8 times to the Iodex dude before I got him, mostly due to me not knowing the range on my spear yet. Then the stupid naked dude with the Katana at the shrine killed me like four more times before I got him as well. Having fun so far.

Finally got some serious playtime in today and made it to Boreal Valley. Place looks stunning. Heavy Large Club +5 is doing serious work.

I haven't been summoned by any of the PvP covenants yet :/

Fun fact, not wearing armor in any slot decreases your defense DRASTICALLY. for all intents and purposes you basically have negative defense until you get SOMETHING in every slot. dosen't have to even be good, you just have to wear something.

I beat High Lord Wolnir yesterday. Took a break after him. I'm probably missing a bunch of items from running past skeletons in the catacombs. :p
I should really return to past areas and search out the areas for any secret items

Also I now have an Arbalest crossbow for a secondary weapon. Mostly just to lure groups of enemies one by one.

I don't have PS+ so I don't have to worry about invaders.

Now, excuse me while I cry myself to sleep on top of this pile of solutions that do not apply to my graphics card.

Sometimes I actually don't die. (No boss spoilers, just NPC shenanigans.)

I backtracked to find items I might have missed.

I found 3 Estus shards and an undead bone shard.
I could have had 3 extra Flasks and increased their healing much earlier.
I made the game harder for myself before now.

I now have 9 Flasks at +4.

I just found another Bone shard in the area I just got to. Estus at +5 now.

Edit:
Just beat Pontiff Sulyvahn. He was tough and he killed my NPC helper.
He was one hit away from death and I ran out of Estus. That feeling when you're one hit away from winning, but trying to get that last hit could end you.

started as a knight. im going to find havel's armor/shield/dragon dildo even if i have to go back in time and find it.

im using a +3 mace atm. people seem to forget that its extremely good for pvp if you land even just one hit, as it really fuckin stunlocks if they have no poise. I also have yet to test it in actual pvp but the L2 stance thing for mace makes you have an extremely high poise(i think) for about...3-4 strikes. if you use a war shield that does not parry this is extremely good for trading blows as you will not be stunned out of the combo, while they can not move.

It's pretty funny when people try to block my Club in pvp.

I learned from the two Farron Guardian NPCs encounter that shielding clubs is bad.
