He's for serious

There's also a Juggernaut announcer, and there's probably a bunch more coming in the future.

For any interested in eSports, The International 2 is going to be in Benaroya Hall in Seattle this year.

The roster is more than twice the size of last years International so it should be even more interesting. I'm definitely going to be tuning in.

Once again for those interested, the International Qualifiers are on today.

About 20 teams will be vying for the last two spots in the International, so its going to be pretty high stakes. It's a double elimination tournament and games are best 3 of 5, so it'll probably be going on most of the day.

Go here and click on joinDOTA if you want to watch.

Broodmother will be banned, so there's probably no point in watching. :'(

Who knows, there may be game when people are to busy banning Antimagoo, Lycan, and Nature's Profit to ban Broodmother

Besides Broodmother is a rather dull hero to watch on a stream

So I am ready to get my butt throroughly spanked now that I have this game.

I hope that despite all this strategy and acclaimed toughness, I'll be able to go into this smoothly.

If anyone has advice for a beginner, I'll gladly take 'em.

I played a couple bot games to get reacquainted with the game and hot daisies it's more complicated than before. Also, even with it being a bot game there were still try-hards and leavers. So I stayed pretty quiet and tried to figure things out on my own instead of incurring the wrath of my teammates simply because I didn't know about how the stash worked or the courier (still don't know how to work the courier) All in all it's pretty fun and the ability controls are similar enough to wow that you don't need to freak about that. The fights are a little booty-backwards-retarded sometimes with some champs being outright unfair if enough time has passed.

I'mnot going to pretend it's easy to counter some heroes because it's not, but here's some tips. If your opponent has late-game heroes like Anti-Mage, Phantom Assassin, or other carries, pick someone with a alot of pushing power like Leshrac, Venomancer, or Natures Prophet.

You counter carries with map control. Prevent them from farming safely and gank them now and then, and those late-game heroes will be useless.

So Dota 2 is rapidly adding more and more features that make it basically the best place to be for e-sports teams

Now you can buy Banners of professional teams. The teams get a portion of every sale and owning one means you get item drops whenever your chosen team does well in a game. It's fantabulous.
