There is a middle ground between doing well and absolute bankruptcy guys. It's called the new console is being postponed.

EDIT: Not saying that this will happen, just suggesting possibilities.

You do realize if they were EVER in financial danger, all they would have to do is release a new Pokemon game and Smash Bros.

Even though Nintendo said at E3 they would Focus on all for current systems (Wii, WiiU DS and 3DS) They really don't seem to be. And it's not like they can just all of a sudden say no to all the people making shovelware.

Yea but right now, if they face hard troubles, they don't have smash bros to lean back on. Sakurai said he hasn't even put a team together for the new SSB. I'm not saying that nintendo is going out of business or anything, I'm just saying SSB isn't a variable in this situation.
