We won't necessarily have to start a new map if no one wants to - maps can be saved and hosted by another person on another server. Plugins might be another issue, but since a few might not have been updated yet anyways, we might still be playing vanilla if they do merge.

So, either we lose our map, or they lose their map?

we're still talking things over, he runs multiverse so it's possible to keep both of our worlds on one server, but I'm not sure how well it would run with our current plugins, since his is a downgrade version of our server, will probably cut down on plugins.

Useless, replaced, betrayed, forgotten...

ATTENTION

Just another heads up, we cannot afford the server this month, we are merging our server with another server, it will be cheaper each month. There will be no changes to the map, the only real changes will be a possible ip change, plugin changes, and your rank changes, (No more unique names, they are a pain)

Our current server will be gone, and all of our stuff is being transfered to a new server.

The new admin is Kilobyttens warcraft friend, Vandesdelca32, has his own 20 man server which is a bit barren, so we agreed that we will merge our server, we keep our stuff, and his server has more people, stuff like that.

Don't freak out over this, please keep in mind that I didn't receive enough donations to keep up the server this month, and this will keep the server running, and it will be cheaper to maintain, not to mention easier to maintain with two admins instead of one.

Van announced that it'll take a few hours to upload. It's at about 40% right now. There are efforts being made to make sure the server IP doesn't change, but it will take a little time. We'll let you know the second it goes online.

EDIT:

[3:53:22 PM Vandesdelca32: All of the server hostnames will still exist.

More than 60% now.

Alright. Boss. Does this mean we'll have two different communities in one server now?

Also: 1000th post on this thread. I'd like my cake now.

We could compete over resources, land, pride, and which currency to use.
