So you only asked the people who wouldn't mind.
That's awfully fair.

I'll look into it.

No, it didn't work like that. I didn't even know if anyone was willing to change the world, I thought I was the only one. When I shot the idea to Wordsmith he was working on his giant mansion. Komo agreed with me too. Odds, didn't really care as long as she could have free spells and shit.

I'm not really attached to anything I build on minecraft. If I lose something I worked hard on, I figure I can just build it bigger and better next time.
It's a waste of my time and energy to get angry and bitter about it.

Thanks hitman, also no your donations have not gone through, might want to talk to InsertFail she had the same problem I believe, if you're still interested. Like we said, InsertFail and I will work together to bring some building back into the new world.
Until then check it out, it's a really good map, people have found new things to interest them.

Water Tango's journal
Day four
The past few days have been filled with a strange mix of monotony, confusion, and fatigue. My goal of this expedition was of course to understand the mysterious people of the Awkward Zombie village. However, it became clear very early on that traditional anthropological methods would not suffice here. These are not a social people; they keep to themselves, building, digging, and working to beautify this place they call their home. On my second day, I was involved in a project that involved teamwork and cooperation, but I'm starting to think that this was atypical of the usual routine here. I have since heard of no such projects among the villagers, and the nature of the project itself leads me to suspect something sinister. I found out that a few of the workers of the village were covering a section of the desert to the west of town with a substance they called "Netherrack." Eager to help out, I made my way towards the desert and asked them if they needed any assistance. The initial answer was "no," but with a second thought, they handed me some Netherrack and told me to get to work. I did as told, covering the desert landscape with this mysterious substance. When I ran out of Netherrack, they simply told me to go get some more from the "Nether," and pointed me towards a large black and purple structure I can only describe as a portal. I summed up my courage, and entered. On the other side were such sights that were so disturbing and strange, I am not sure what lies in the realm of occultism and what lies in the realm of hallucination. I will not describe these sights, for they have no place in a scientific journal.
After leaving the Nether, the workers and I were attacked by a giant spider which was on fire, and appeared to come out of the portal, as far as I could tell. The other workers quickly fought it off. From this day forth, creatures such as this, whom the natives call "mobs," and seem to stave off as if normal, have been appearing at night, and burning in the morning sun. It is logical to assume that these creatures come from the Nether, but I am not sure. It disturbs me to think that such horrors could have been willingly brought about by the villagers. I was reminded of the flaming pigs I found in the cavern, and when I returned there, I found that the pigs and the cages were gone, leaving only the torches. Later, I would find two more "empty altars," but these two were outside in the bright of day. In the center of one of the altars was a hole that went down for at least thirty blocks. I did not venture to drop into the hole.
After the events of the Nether and the caverns, I decided that I needed to get my mind off these troublesome events. I had been taking note of the care and hard work the other villagers had put into their homes, and decided that if I wanted to understand these people, I would have to do the same with my humble abode. I began harvesting material from the lands outside the village walls to decorate my home, a process I am still in the middle of. There is something comforting in this work; I am beginning to see why the other villagers are so absorbed in it. I myself have been so absorbed that I have failed to keep up with my journal in the past few days. I practically had to pull myself away from my work to sit down at my desk tonight, for if I worked any longer, I would surely collapse into bed upon finishing, just as I had the past few nights.
So indeed, most of my days since day two have been filled with such monotony. There was one incident worth note, however. Today, when I woke up, I found my bedroom to be filled with small red mushrooms populating the floor. I exited the room and found them to be spread all over my house, only living on the floor. Also, the two doors, one leading to the village and one leading to my mining spot, were both open. At first I suspected something paranormal, but I soon realized this was just the events of the past few days getting to me, and that this stunk more of a practical joke. Upon cleaning up the fungus population, I stepped outside and confronted my neighbor, the man Sheila referred to as "bff," but I have since learned is actually called Cafall. He did not admit to the prank, but his behavior in the conversation have almost confirmed his culpability in my mind. I decided to dismiss the incident, and thankfully so. Later, when I was stuck inside the village walls at night for fear of mobs, I was exploring the residences of the various villagers, and embarrassingly got myself stuck in the "cellar" of a treehouse belonging to a villager named Topaz. I swallowed my pride and called out for help, and who should come to my rescue but Cafall. This fellow is an interesting individual, and I have resolved to withhold any judgements on this man until I can learn more about him.
Hopefully in the next few days I can be more diligent in my observations, and can record important events in this journal as they happen, instead of days later.

Also shop plugin has been disabled because it is very out of date. I will get a new one to test out.

Hello, Kilobytten (from Minecraft) here. Thought I'd finally make an account and introduce myself to the forums since I've already spent a few days on your server.
I've read Awkward Zombie for awhile, though it wasn't until recently did I venture to the forums. As soon as I saw the Minecraft thread I hopped onto the server despite not having a forum account. Long story short, here I am. I am the one responsible for the terribly planned greenhouse and big tower to the north of the AZ town. So er. Hi.
