And what happens when everyone builds too much in this world, as evidently happened in the old one?

Another reset?

Hey noff can you know how there are two adjacent walled-off sections of the city? Can I destroy part of the wall that separates them to expand my house? I dont really see why we need that wall anymore

I kind of want to go there just to see what the city is like.

The city's still rather small as we haven't gotten much built, but we got big plans

All right.

Maybe we should have a vote this time, between people who want to switch back to the old map, and those who want to stick to the new one. I personally am going to vote to switch back, because yes, I like the new server, but I had so much stuff on the old one and a ton of projects I wanted to finish. If Noff wanted to "start over" with the AZ Village, he could've just gone two maps over and started that way.

I can't make an official vote, but I guess post your opinion, and if you'd like to switch back.

Ah, unfortunately that probably counts as flinging your 'shit' for miles across the map.

i really really really would like the old map back. there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. if you want to make a big fuck castle, make another town like its been said a dozen times over now. the world aint exactly tiny and alot of us put a fuck ton of work into our stuff. my first major daisies building was on that map and id like to be able to go back to it.

I'm about as pessimistic as it's possible to be regarding this entire situation, but if it comes down to a vote, then I'd rather have the old map.

I didn't spend weeks gathering materials and building a railroad to the main city, then terraform a massive 20 block high sand dune just so I could have the construction of my first building interrupted halfway through by the whims of people who want less stuff next to the default spawn area. The same thing could have been done by simply changing the spawn to a new, remote location and moving every player there. This shouldn't have happened at all, much less without pooling the opinions of everyone who would be affected by the change beforehand.

The problem with staying in a town is it restricts any really ambitious building like castles or floating islands. And with everyone close together tunnels turn into the Labyrinth when they start connecting everywhere.

Well, now I have a pretty big stockpile of resources and various projects on both maps, so I'm gonna lose a load of work either way. Personally, I like the world in the new map much more, but I thought it pretty unfair to just reset it on a whim without really telling anyone

Is there any way we can combine the two maps? Cause I absolutely hated the previous map

So did you guys make ANOTHER new world? Because I was in my house last time I played when when I sign on, i'm somewhere different with a new Awkward City and everything.

DISREGARD THIS.

I was gonna finish my house but OH WELL. Kinda unmediated to do anything in the server now.
