Whoa whoa whoa.
Does this mean we can pair ships across Nohr and Hoshido...?

Aw man I remember chapter 19. *shudders*
My strategy: high speed units for normal stuff. Keep whatever healer you have alive, preferably paired up with a tanky unit just in case... If the upstanding members of society put up an illusion, throw a Nosferatu mage (or whatever unit doesn't die in more than two hits on your end) in range of them and have everyone else back up. The upstanding members of society'll try to kill the mage. But with Nosferatu equipped, if your mage hits*, it will make their efforts for naught and then you can storm them with archers or wyverns or whatever hits these things because I forget.
Mr. Boss upstanding member of society at the end of the map is also just the WORST. I'd use Camilla for him if she can one-shot him reliably. Beware that he shifts between illusions for himself and his guards before you get in range. I also think he can one-shot a mage, but I may be mistaken. He's a pretty tough cookie... but since he's using a Beastone+ he's practically a sitting duck after he attacks in enemy phase. Unfortunately he still has those two guards on the side of him... so they might complicate that part a bit.
That's just what I've done... but I'm really a Fire Emblem noob and shouldn't be typing up big paragraphs of what I consider to be a "strategy"... but I hope I helped if you haven't already beaten the chapter! :D
*I think Dark Mages get um... Heartseeker(?) at a certain level. I think it lowers enemy avo by 20, so that skill would REALLY help in getting hits in on those upstanding members of society.

Also was any of that good? Like I said, I'm a total FE noob, but I'm curious if anything of what I said made sense to a more seasoned FE player.

I moved forward a bit in Conquest to Chapter 9 and I'm sorry, Shoolis, but Arthur is the worst.

Grounded

So Chapter 21 of Conquest was surprisingly simple but holy smokes Chapter 22 is a whole other story. I think I've reset twice so far but I think I know what I did wrong and can adjust for it.

I made a new file in Conquest and started using tips I found around the interwebs. So far so good... the hard part is keeping everyone strong, though. I feel like I'm sitting on a bomb where I'll have a just *barely* underleveled unit in a tight spot but I don't know WHEN.
I'm also having trouble naming weapons. So far my best new name is a Hand Axe for Beruka called "Axesassin" (in my opinion).
Others include Camilla's new Steel Axe, "Acks", and another Iron Axe for Beruka called "Axeident". Throwable Stab and Bombardabrella are also making comebacks.

Boo Camp can be a Godsend in the earlier levels of Conquest if you're willing to pay for power.

finally got my hands on Birthright yesterday.

so far I'm at Chapter 10 and have found that I can sweep entire maps if I wanted with my Wyvern Rider lord paired up with Kaze or Rinkah (I give Kaze like +4 strength or something and he has so much speed, so he ends up doing like 12 Damage with Steel Shuriken and doubling constantly, Rinkah gives me +3 Str/Def making me do so much damage and consequently take exactly jack shit from everybody else)

also for being a "perfect" guy, Subaki sure gets really shitty level ups for me.

Who did you reclass into Wyvern Rider, because you don't have Scarlet by Chapter 10.

He said Wyvern Rider "lord" and "I give Kaze like +4 strength" so I'm assuming that Corn was the one reclassed

I still need to do Birthright. I got to like, Chapter 12 and said "this sucks".

The maps are boring, and it's like playing Conquest in reverse with how you go through Hoshido. Kinda wish you followed a different path but you know they want you to collect the people you fought or killed in Conquest so I understand why it's a reverse of the Conquest pathway, just makes for a boring game so far.

Also fighting my husband is going to be hard.
