Oh my gosh, that sounds like the best thing. I would probably make one of the rarest class in the game or something.

Myrmidon and Pegasus Knight if Female
Archer, Mage and Cavalier are available to both.

I'd play through my first time as a Mercenary, then pick a girl with Pegasus Knight.

Man could you imagine those games on the Wii U? Fire Emblem would become an instant hit if done right. I would just take Radiant Dawn's engine, spruce up the graphics, and copy/paste Seisen and Thracia's gameplay. Actually no I would completely revamp Seisen to be like Thracia. Fudge those enormous overworld maps, I want more tactical and defined gameplay, not loose overworld orgies.

Also yeah give me my friscking Book 2, Nintendo of America, DAMMIT.

Perhaps there is some hope now that Sacred Stones is an Ambassador game on the 3DS.... I don't much like the GBA Fire Emblems, too simple for me, but the interest generated might be enough to push NoA into giving us Book 2, then resulting in remakes of Seisen and Thracia.

is the FE 3DS game out yet?

Q2 2012 for Japan, no word on a NA/EU release yet. I doubt we'll get it.

It sounds like it would be fun, with it bringing back mechanics similar to Thracia's fatigue (makes you think about unit deployment instead of just deploying the same OP units over and over)...

But...

The characters.... they don't look "Fire Emblem". I would say they look more like Disgaea characters, and I HATE Disgaea.

That girl does have some crazy hair though. They do seem to have a more "modern" look than most FE characters, but how long has it been since the last new FE game? Like, 3ish years right?
