I think I'll check that out when my exams are finished. But I took a quick glance at their website, and I think you still have to pay to unlock powers and stuff? That seems pretty lame.

Incorrect.
Free players get Archetype champions.
Think of it like playing a Druid in World of Warcraft, you will only ever get Druid spells.
"Gold" players get Freeform AND Archetype Champions.
Think of it like playing a Druid in World of Warcraft, except you can pick Levitate and Power Shield from the Priest class, then pick up Spiritwalker's Grace from Shaman, etc. However, you can't get all of your Druid spells if you do this.

Played at launch. Character creation is second to none, travel powers are loads of fun, but not something I need to revisit any time soon.

Well, I'll definitely check it out when I've got spare time then.

This looks pretty cool, I've been looking for a superhero MMO. Plus, it doesn't fall under the curse of most free-to-play games where all the fun stuff is locked behind a door made of PIN numbers and credit cards.

My main guy is level 30 but I just made a new guy for the purposes of playing with you guys
His name is Nice and my account handle is @Hudski so throw me a PM or something and I'll hang around you while you do the tutorial

You can actually skip that and go straight to Millennium City now. There's new low-level content, too.
Oh, and my handle is
@Starboard_Nacelle

I'm considering it.
I'm just wondering what power sets I should go with. Power Armor looks neat but largely unfinished. Claws also looks fun; who doesn't want to be Wolverine.

Freeform is subscriber only. Unless they added an archetype for that, you can't use it.

There is an archetype for both of those.

Is there an archetype for telekinesis yet?
