Engineer has the best burst damage potential out of every class. The shotgun is one of the only ground weapons capable of killing infantry with one shot, and detpacks yield the highest damage out of every explosive. They may be outdone by time bombs, but those are only usable on space maps.

Also, for those of you that don't have the cheddar to afford Battlefront II, there's a similar Source mod on Steam called Eternal Silence. It's a lot more complicated, but it's got some fantastic elements. Also, it looks prettier.

I missed this game so much, one of my favorite Star Wars games, right up there with Galactic Battlegrounds (Anyone play that?)
I think I actually still have the discs for this somewhere... How is multiplayer still?

Still pretty populated. Sheila, Nancy, and I were on a ground combat server with 15 other people yesterday. Kamino and Naboo are intense.

Be sure to launch it through Steam, if you have it. That way, we can text chat between spawns or just voice chat as a group. That's what the three of us do, anyway.

Sounds good. Do you need my Steam ID or whatever it is called?
If I recall correctly, it is Lotharu

Ah I can't justify $20 for a game I already have on ps2

Does anyone know if a used disc (from ebay or wherever) can do multiplayer?

I just added you. I'm President Magikarp.

We occasionally host games that show up on the server browser as "Awkward Zombie". The password is always "derp".

All you really need is the cd key. There's a lot of shitty places around that sell just that for a fraction of the price, if you're really that much of a cheap booty.

I don't know if it was mentioned, but give me or Ody a bother and we'll organise some gayms. It'd be totally sweet if we could get a bunch of AZers in a carrier and invade the enemy ship.

I found a new copy pretty cheap on Ebay, so I got it.
If anyone's interested, there are still four left and about a day remaining. http://cgi.ebay.com/Star-Wars-Battlefro ... 230c837c4b

Do you have Steam? We usually use that to organize games and voice chat.
