I feel like one of the few people who had fun with FFXII. Were the characters interesting and unique? Not really; Vaan and Penelo were one-dimensional, but the side characters were entertaining enough to keep me going (wish there was more Al-Cid). The worlds Square Enix tends to build around their FF games are always beautiful and have some nice backstory if you feel like reading the primers. The plot wasn't ground-breaking, but it was enough to keep me going 'til the end. Gameplay was okay - grind-worthy but what FF game isn't. Fantastic game? No - probably won't ever play through the story mode more than the one time, but it was enjoyable.

I did hate how none of the cast could pronounce Marquis.

Oh my God

Laguna I fart so much

I got the new Dissidia yesterday and theres one scene where Cloud of Darkness and laguna are talking. Laguna starts to feel awkward when the topic of COD's nudeness comes up, and in his panic of trying to explain himself when he said he was "admiring her appearance", he gives himself a leg cramp.

Its starts at 4:20

Got into FFT again the past few days.
Psp version.
Trying to grind out a Dark Knight, pain in the arse.
And something happened today.
I named some people in my party after my friends, and my calculator (David) died.
No way to revive him, tried to kill every monster and I fell short.
Played about 5 hours without saving, so i had to go on.
God daisies it was depressing.
Some of it because my calculator died, and he was an asset.
But more because I tried to save my bro, and I couldn't do it.

Just beat the new Dissidia

It explains why the "new" characters dont appear in the original dissidia (which takes place after this one, chronologically)

They all die

Don't worry, it gets worse.

No dungeon save points. Final dungeon is long and has multiple bosses.

Far far worse, I'm talking bout needed to disassemble about 3 items just to find 1 item to upgrade 1 item to be amazing

I'm talking bout SEN Lightning Blitz with axis blade with ATB charge

Just watch HCBailly and you'll be fine.

I didn't really like the plot in the game. It was really unoriginal compared to most FF games.
"Main Character is a blonde haired, skilled at flying, pretty boy who lost a relative in the current war and is in a desert locale and wants adventure. He gets the opportunity when a sky-pirate and humanoid-animal companion offer him and his childhood friend to come with them and fight the Oppressive Empire and rescue a kidnapped Princess. The sky-pirate is also on the run from bounty hunters."

daisies does that shit sound a LOT like Star Wars IV: A New Hope.
It might get better from there but I never finished the game.

Funny, I really liked the similarities to Star Wars. The story also gets a lot better if you think of the main character as Ashe, Balthier, Basch, or pretty much anybody but Vaan.

I played like Balthier was the main guy, or ashe, I forget.
I got mad that Vaan was the one walking around in town, though I just imagined he was running errands while balthier was boning Fran and Ashe at the same time.

Didn't you read his dialogue? Balthier WAS the main character and he knew it.
Stuff goes here later.

Yeah, I remember.

So I played some of Dissidia 2, it's pretty good.
The story is...bleh.
They keep circle jerking Lightning, and I have to play through the story of number one again just to get to the sequel part.
No wanna.
