THIS!
I first played this at my friends place, and then many years later bought it for myself from GameStop. Awesome game, and it also has one of my favorite Star Wars characters as the main character so...

The gameplay and level design are sometimes a bit crappy though, but it hasn't bothered me that much.

Thought of it when I saw this thread:
Second Sight
It was a game on the PS2/PC where you're basically an escaped military guy (I thought.) who basically has telekinesis and pyrokenesis and stuff at his command, was the first game I could throw dudes at stuff with ragdoll physics, it was amazing for me back then.

Solatorobo: Red the Hunter. It seems practically no one knows about it but it was a real gem that came out for DS right after the 3DS came out (so before anyone else had one).

Really wish Achron got more attention. It was a multiplayer time-travel RTS game and while the unit mechanics themselves were pretty terrible, the time travel itself was handled very well, and it was immensely satisfying to destroy a factory in the past, then watch half of someone's future army suddenly disappear mid-fight.
Considering the matchmaking was done from a built-in IRC client (and various other questionable design decisions) though it's really no surprise the game didn't get much fanfare.

Split/Second was so fucking good. Traditional racing game inspired by over the top action movies. The big twist is that every racetrack was rigged with spectacular explosives and traps to trigger. Some douche scratched your paint? Drop a fucking plane on him. Jerk bumps you from first to fifth? Detonate the entire street. Asshole takes the lead? Crash a ship into the road, shifting the entire track onto the fuckin ship, changing the course of the race.
Shit gets real crazy, real fast.
