Mega Man 2 (completed on 'Normal', did some 'Difficult')
Mega Man 9 (On Wily Stage 1)

and today I got the first one!
Mega Man (Done Cut Man and Bomb Man stages, working towards the others) It's hard and glitchy, but yaaaaaaaaaaay the music is so sweeeet, even with the weird PAL slowdown thing.

I've beaten Mega Man 2 up to Wily Stage 1. I cannot beat that dragon bastard.

I fail immensely at Mega Man 1, I have not gotten past any of those stages.

I /finally/ got though Guts Man's stage by avoiding the middle platform and jumping stright down to the lowest one. it still took a few tries, mind you. One Hyper-Bombed Gutsman later, I went for Elec Man and I got both Magnet and Thunder Beams. Sissors beat Electrical Wires, I guess~

Ice Man's stage was irritating, what with the dissappearing tiles and the huge booty ravines, so the Magnet beam was useful here to. Ice Man himself was a pushover when electrocuted.

Fire Man's stage was pretty annoying, but the Ice Shooter cooled him down. And didn't melt. Huh.

Anyway, now I've got access to Dr. Wily stages! Woo!!

When you reach the bit at the end, stand on the topmost block and spam Quick Boomerangs. If you fall off, land on the block below and jump back up.

I mean, it's basically it. Keep grinding it till you get better, and if you don't, you're doing something wrong.

Well I know I'm doing something wrong if I can't time my jumps right with his idiot fire. Guess it's time to pop a training montage.

Here's your best bet.

The fight is laughably short with just the buster. Immediately get up on the top block and shoot him a bunch. When he shoots fire get on the second highest block and continue shooting him. Your goal should be to just kill him as fast as possible, and if your on normal it should only really take a few seconds. Just repeat those steps and you should basically never get hit and you'll get him pretty quickly.

Also I don't think I ever made it as far as the dragon before. I never got passed the small platforming part beforehand.
