As a side note - can you people believe that EA support is now actually helping people? Just recently it was the definition of fail.

I bought FIFA12 in Origin. Don't ask me why I did that, still can't say. Wasn't drunk, that's for sure. So anyway. The game simply didn't start. The only way for me to play was to use a crack, and that's not exactly how I imagined it after paying my cheddar to them.
So, I contact their support through their crappy support webpage. First I try to get a live chat with an advisor. I wait for 45 minutes and get disconnected before I start typing my question. Then I write a support ticket and get an generic nonsense "update your drivers and directx" answer after two days. I write a letter to their email explaining the situation. The same answer. I am frustrated and start writing (resending, actually, with minor edits) letters with every possible detail every couple of days. And get totally ignored. And then there's this declared policy of EA - no refunds for digital purchases.

While waiting for an answer (didn't get one) after sending another letter, I get my BF3 after pre-ordering in Origin, but not the pre-order bonuses. I notice that after a while, try their support... AND GET THIS: I get a live chat with an advisor after just 3 minutes of waiting, he gives me all the bonuses without question, and also gives me all the other bonuses which I wasn't supposed to get as a compensation.
Then, yesterday I try to contact their support via their new webpage about this FIFA issue. And they answer my email in 10 minutes! And give me a refund without any questions.

They probably realized before releasing BF3 that they're losing to Steam in every possible way, especially support. I am still immensely amazed.

If nobody buys me SimCity 4 Deluxe within the next 2 and a half hours it'll go off sale and I'll feel bad if anyone buys it for me at 20 dollars if anybody at all even considers buying it for me.
