I remember their videos, we played on Shadowfire, though. We noticed his name on the developer walk through of that flashpoint (Which looked awesome)

Ya, he works for Bioware now. He does the gameplay videos and timelines on the website.

Tell me about it. I always complain to him when a new one comes out if I don't see it right away. I'm like why didn't you tell me!!

Beta opened up again. Invites were sent out. If someone else gets in, let me know maybe we can play together.

Originally, I was gonna be the Jedi chick, stoppin' lightsabers with my bare hands, but the guild decided to go to the dark side. I'll be making a Sith Warrior. I hope you guys are going to roll on a PvP server, it'll be fun fighting with you - or against. :D

Egh, I don't judge anyone for wanting to roll on RP or PvE servers. People enjoy playing games their own way, and thinking less of someone for wanting to play for PvE or PvP is dumb. In the few MMOs I've played with AZers it's been mostly PvE and it's fun, but I tried out PvP on Rift (and recently Faxion) and I find myself enjoying it a lot more so I'm going to keep going at it in SW:ToR.

I really dislike PvP simply because of the hostilities it creates between players.

I think the only MMO I tried RP in was WoW but I found the community to be much better than others and I enjoyed it much more.

I think Star Wars is one of my favourite games/stories/universe, whatever applies, so being able to RP in it will probably be quite fun, seeing as I hate grinding through instances.

So I'm not sure if I'll see much of you folks.

Personally I'm just not really into RPing, but the reason I found myself enjoying a PvP server (versus a PvE one) was due to the player versus player aspect. The main reason I play MMOs is to play with friends - from AZ, I've hopped from Dungeons & Dragons Online, to Fiesta, then to Vindictus, and I always seemed to run into the same issue: PvE grind with little rewards. I could get all the gear, but then what? There wasn't much to do except wait for new content. That aside, people would end up losing interest in the games, and I didn't see any point in grinding by myself.

When I tried PvPing in Rift, I found it a lot more engaging than going through instance after instance. Granted, Rift fails in PvP because there is little end-game PvP content to keep anyone around for more. You shouldn't have to constantly look for PvP on a PvP server. Meanwhile in Faxion, the entire focus of the game is to combat other players. You do quests until level 30 or so, and then you can just fight other players to get to 60. I could bodaciously just log on, participate in some PvP events, have fun, gain levels, and log off. I could almost compare it to playing an FPS.

I definitely know what you mean about hostilities between players. People can get so angry. You'll meet some great guys that understand a game is a game, but aha, ragers are much more common. Not to mention the trash-talking can get tiresome. Even so, I find player versus player action keeps me more interested in the game as a whole.

Haha sorry for the long post, ramblin' late at night is my specialty.
