It seems to be presenting the Happy Mask Salesman as a bad guy
i.e. playing into that creepy pasta that is popular at the moment

the first time I played Majora's Mask I was under the impression the pop flyin' Mask Salesman was a bad guy. He just doesn't seem like a trustworthy dude imo

the guy helps you and just wants his mask back
as apposed to Skull Kid who is trying to drop the moon
priorities man

Well yeah. I just expected the pop flyin' mask salesman to be the secret bad guy in the end. Was surprised when he wasn't.
Skullkid is an obvious destructive villain, the HMS kind of seemed like a scheming villain.

That theory has been around for a long time actually.
Even the Manga released soon after the game came out thought that the pop flyin' Mask Salesman purposefully allowed the Skull Kid to get the mask to cause havoc.
It's one of those popular fan theories.
Along with the one that Sheik is a guy.

I wouldn't say the pop flyin' Mask Salesman was creepier in that video than in the game. I always thought he was creepy as hell, overreacting when you don't come back with his mask, appearing out of nowhere twice, only caring about his evil mask. The manga also pictured him that way way before Ben was a thing.

Which game? Because in most of them, they are pretty much immortal/impossible to kill.
And guys, Moonfall already succeeded. Nintendo IS making an MM remake, but only AFTER they make an original Zelda game for the 3DS.
;w; *sniff* My dreams come true, now i can be terrified of things in three dimensions! Man, I hope they make it look cool, I would so totally go after a game that looked like those fakes though.

I... I need a minute to cry in joy.

Too bad the 3DS would be waste of cheddar because of how few games I want for it. :\

I'm really hoping for that ALttP sequel at the developer's meeting.
Favorite game potentially getting a sequel in the same art style? Hell yes.

But he wasn't overreacting, he got everyone into deep shit because he lost the powerful mask and was probably worried and quite stressed
I can see the creepy aspect but I can't see him as anything other than a guy that wants his dangerous mask back so that everyone doesn't die

At the same rate, why hold onto a dangerous mask that can and will destroy the world, especially if you can get your booty kicked and have it stolen by a common thug? Wouldn't it be better off hidden in some much safer place, or possibly destroyed?
I can see him just being obsessed with the mask, but man seriously, he needs to lock this shit up or get bodyguards.

I think the Mask is indestructable, but as for hiding it, shrug.

Except it wasn't stolen because it was Majora's Mask, it was stolen because Skull Kid stole things for fun and found it interesting.
Had the Salesman not even had it on him, he might've just stolen The Thing mask or something.

Yeah, you can't hide things forever, eventually, people find out that the king has donkey ears.

It could be that the mask is similar to the Ring from LotR, in the sense that it can't stay hidden.
Anyway, the trailer is fake because none of the gaming sites I frequent are talking about it. It looks impressive though, I wonder who's behind it and why. The text over flames that pop up made it too obvious though, and the logo looked sketchy as well.
