The Legend of Zelda
Re: The Legend of Zelda
The only way I beat his final form was bringing several fully upgraded invincibility potions and hacking away.
But my main problem was that he dodged my finishing blow like 10 times in a row, but I got lucky I guess and hit him with it on my first or second finishing blow and was able to beat him.
It sucked dude.

I didnt know about the SKyward Strike thing when I fought Demise so I just blocked his attacks with the Hylian Shield until the lightning went away

Re: The Legend of Zelda
Some of us didn't have a shield when we fought Demise.
That was...that was tough.

I would always keep it away until I needed it, because if I didn't keep it in my bag I'd always thrust it with the slightest hand motion.

Reviving of threads? On my AZ?
I'm playing Oracle of Ages now and the time mechanics of this game are a bit whack.
On the one hand, you have stable time loops, like with the gorons, where you need a bomb flower in the past, so you go to the present and get a bomb flower from the gorons, bring it back to the past which causes them to cultivate them in the first place.
And on the other you have things changing in the present only after you did them in the past like the zoras where before you heal the zora king in the past, he will be dead in the present.
It's weird.
Also I'm kinda still stuck in OoT. In Jabu Jabu. Yeah I haven't played much since I got it.
I defeated the giant Octorok and need Ruto to get to the boss room but I have no idea where she is now.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
When I played OoT I thought that was the boss so I left jabujabu and was like what the fuck happens now
but yeah I don't think you need to find her, just go find the actual boss

Re: The Legend of Zelda
Yeah, I'm pretty sure Ruto only appears again after the boss is defeated so she can be tusundre towards Link.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
Yeah I found out I could just use a crate on the switch.
I'm still too used to the 2D games, where you could not put down something you picked up and could only throw things on the same height as you are, not up or down. That made me get stuck a few times already.
Now I'm adult Link and supposed to go to Kakariko. I went there and now what? I got the Hymn of the Sun on the graveyard, great. Impa is supposed to be there too but I can't see her anywhere. Or the ghost of the undertaker.
