The Legend of Zelda
Re: The Legend of Zelda
$60 is a lot to drop on an uncertain thing. That's why I love demos.
Stuff goes here later.
Re: The Legend of Zelda
If this game was on PC I'd probably torrent it for a day or two, then buy it if I liked it to support Nintendo and such. Oh well.

It's a great game, I'd recommend getting it if you have the cheddar.
Also, I was so pumped to go to the Symphony in Houston this July, but my best friend who wants to go might be out of town. Tuxedo Mask doesn't really want to go...and I don't want to go alone.

Yes.Topaz Luckdragon wrote:So, I'm reading up on this game breaking glitch. Everywhere is just saying don't go to lanayru first, but I keep feeling like they mean save it for last. I've already done Eldin, and I don't really feel up for fighting the imprisoned again. It is safe to go to Lanayru?

Re: The Legend of Zelda
Lets talk about something different now. Just a memory I have from playing Zelda.
Oracle of Ages.
I remember that game when I was a kid, I remember when I got it I was sooooo pop flyin' to get it with my Game Boy Color. To this day I think its one of those life-changing games I played, because I absolutely loved the concept of time travel to see what happened to things in different places. Lyanna Village/City just enthralled me. And even though I never did make it past the first boss (me and Mr Pumpkinhead have a wonderful grudge rivalry to this day, where I smash his head open and rip the soul guts out of him) and it eventually became lost under a grounding or two, it always struck me as one of the best games ever put out by Zelda.
Then one day, a friend told me he had it. I was so pop flyin', even though I was like 20. XD Results: He got a nice game (Pokemon Red Mystery Dungeon with my super team) and I got an old copy of the Oracle of Ages that still worked! I beat it and let me tell you, it was the best tradeoff ever. Beating all those dungeons, learning about what consequences actions have when you alter them in the past.... hoo... I'm sorry, just felt like telling someone about it. ^w^

What harm could come from imprisoning a hellinternet beast every night and making it hate humanity and what it stands for?
Then we can release it back into the wild.

Every Zelda game is better than Twilight Princess so you have a long, fruitful road ahead of you!Swayhaven wrote:I want to get Skyward Sword, but I'm afraid it won't be as good as Twilight Princess.
please stop that right now

This is why people often say Legend of Zelda has never had a bad game. Even the bad games are full of win. 8===D (we dont mention Cd-I in these parts sir.)Crawfish wrote:Every Zelda game is better than Twilight Princess so you have a long, fruitful road ahead of you!Swayhaven wrote:I want to get Skyward Sword, but I'm afraid it won't be as good as Twilight Princess.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
Okay i need some help.
I'm on the hyrule castle stage of twilight princes and i havent gotten anywhere because i'm stuck on what to do. There's that hallwaywhere a bunch of undead zombies are pointing at a wall, and the othere side of that wall is a ledge in the first area and im not sure what that has to do with anything. So just what do i do to start off the stage?
Please help.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
I remember getting stuck on that bit too. The ghosts are pointing at a painting, correct? Shoot an arrow at the string holding the painting up. It's not entirely obvious because you haven't used that particular attribute of the bow since the Goron Mines, as far as I remember, and the painting's strings are quite small.musicandilikeit wrote:Okay i need some help.

In future it may be a better idea to check GameFAQs or Youtube for this sort of thing, since it's not much of a topic for sparking forum discussion (though I've probably done something similar myself).

The way they point is the safe way to travel. Also the ledge you may want a spinner on. Just an FYI.

It is.
Damnit I can't beat Demise's second stage. I know I'm supposed to get lightning to hit my sword, but how?
