Fucking hell, now I figure out easy ways to kill that bastard.

Also, I'm in the Sky Keep or whatever now, I can't figure out the goddamn sliding puzzle thing goddamn.

Loving the LoZ references in this comic.
You know, I went a level above him so I could run ahead of him without being stomped on, and as I looked down on his head all I could think of was.
"Why can't this be SotC."
Well shoot, now I know.

Can't get the idea out of my head that she died in the fall or fell into a coma and is now living a fantasy.

Linebeck is amazing and needs more love. I can't find where my Phantom Hourglass went so I'll probably never be able to beat it, but from what I played I can certainly say I enjoyed it.

The Imprisoned I felt just got annoying and really repetitive. I liked having the option to flail him with bombs, but during the last two times it was more a matter of playing dodge from his feet/tail and getting rustled off when he would eat half my health when doing the boss battle challenge. At least the third one was easier since you only need to beat up his toes once then take him down when flying the rest.

Wait, you can attack the Imprisoned's feet? I just hopped up to a higher cliff and then jumped down. Stunning him with the Groosenator happened now and then I guess.

If you slashed all of his white "toes" he'd fall over and let you smack the seal into his head (for a limited time, but you have like 30 seconds).

I actually had no idea you could attack him from above :psyduck:

I just used the same strategy of destroying his toes like the first time taught me.

And hitting the spike back in his head actually isn't that difficult--I think maybe the second time around you get like a minute or so to hit him. I had enough time to whip out the beetle, grab some hearts from a ledge a little ways ahead of me, jump down and run up to where he was all in time. In the million times I've faced him I only missed the timing once.

It seems astoundingly unintuitive to attack the toes for some reason. I mean, the geysers are there to give you easy access, so why wouldn't you just jump straight onto his head?

Surprisingly poor battle design on Nintendo's part.

I think in the second and third battles you have to stun him to get on his head.

At least for me, he kept shaking me off if I got on his head.

I think we've all missed the point. There's lots of ways to defeat him. We all just seemed to have used the hardest methods. I attacked his toes originally and never thought to use anything other than sword swipes. You can attack his "fingers" in later battles as well. You can jump on his head. There's probably other ways.
Character is what you are in the dark.

Does attacking the fingers do anything though?

Don't tell me he falls over if you shoot them off. That wouldn't make sense.

He falls, I'm pretty sure, since he's hauling himself up.

You attack the fingers when he uses his arms to pull himself up a level.

I usually just bomb him to get him to stop.

Then go for the feet.
